The Peter Kiewit Institute is home to approximately 1800 undergraduate and graduate students from two University of Nebraska colleges: University of Nebraska–Lincoln College of Engineering and University of Nebraska-Omaha College of Information Science and Technology.  Through these two colleges based at PKI, students pursue degrees at the associates through doctorate levels in 12 academic disciplines.  During the past 12 years, PKI has produced over 3000 undergraduates who entered the workforce or continued with graduate school.  Some of whom are now rising to key management levels in industry and government.
